Hydraulic Presses are equipped with PSDI capability.
ThomasNet
Available with capacities from 2-2,000+ tons as well as various capabilities and options, hydraulic presses are designed to specific applications in any industry. PSDI (Presence Sensing Device Initiation) control system involves use of electro-optical (light curtain) guarding to activate press cycle, promoting productivity and safety while reducing operator fatigue by eliminating need for 2-hand touch button depression-based machine cycling.

Hydraulic Presses offer presence sensing device initiation.
ThomasNet
Presses are equipped with PSDI (Presence Sensing Device Initiation) capabilities, which work with control systems using electro-optical (light curtain) guarding to activate press cycle. After photoelectric barrier is broken once by press operator to remove finished part and again upon placement of new part, sensors detect that the point of operation is clear of operator's hands or other objects, and press automatically cycles.
